jambands = east coast

jambase = west coast

therefore jambands has a 3 hour advantage over jambase.

^ shouldn't matter, it would all come out at the same time, not some weird 3 hour delay. but hey at least we got some baller websites to view, especially this one. minus the skimmed mayo.

....so what. Be happy jambands is so fast, stop complaining that jambase takes a little while yea?

Anyway, mountain jams terrain sucks, but music, sweet sweet music. and that billy oteil and scott things gotta be cool to see... Max creek relativly unknown too the younger generation oh jam fans, so as a result i say they are underrated.

what exactly is the "gene ween band"? different members or something?

and coheed & cambria sounds pretty wutthefuck-ish of an outlier to share this stage... and girl talk? seriously? why is this guy at every festival? i find him boring and lame - and quite unbelievably liked by too many people. how original is it to juxtapose aerosmith with nelly with smashing pumpkins all in 30 secs. it's not artistic, nor interesting. it's amateur shit by a 'dj' that should've stayed at amateur high school parties.

now i've explained myself, so no need for the "peace, love, and don't hate on shitty bands just 'cause they're shitty" comments. and other than that, fest looks pretty tight.

So many great fests, so little capital, time availability, and proximity. I need to live vicariously through someone at Mountain Jam, and Waka. Have fun you lucky bastards. 10klf is my saving grace. Warren, Robinson Bros. Open door for ya baby.

So who is gonna headline Sunday Night? Allman's are most likely Saturday with mule. UMPH Friday. The Dead aren't doing anything. They might as well come by and make this the best fest of the year.

Until they announce Rothbury!!!

this festival is fucking AMERICAN and i say that with pride, everything about this festy is sweet: location, music but if theres one thing ill bitch about its having to see gov.mule headlining friday and saturday night from 9-12...

I keep going back and forth between I can't believe I'm going to this jamband wank-fest (i've seen the mule too many times and just saw the allmans last fall) cause all my friends are going and wow, this is a good deal cause i'd pay atleast $10 to see every band on the line-up.

my biggest issue...2 nights of mule is a lot and pretty weak second tier headliners.

I got my tix early bird, but am dissappointed by these adds... And I just realized that it says this is the "full" lineup. Are you sure? Seems like a smaller lineup than last years?

Agh, oh well... should be fun anyways.

I was really hoping to make this festival this year because its close but the lineup has not really made it worth it. The dead not headlining doesnt even make sense to me and umph and franti...i`d rather spend my money on tuition. roo is on the path to complete hipster fest(nothing against hipsters, just stating the fact) and waka and 10k arent gonna be possible....please roth give me phish or the dead and some good late night(pretty lights and bassnectar?)

other then about 3 or 4 bands (allmans, mule, gene) not really my cup of tea. gene ween band is gene ween(vocals) without dean (the guitarist) but russo on drums and scott metzger(rana) on guitar and the ween bass player. if you like some ween, you cant go wrong with gene ween band.

These are some good additions to an already excellent fest. (except for Girl Talk-DJs are for radios, and Franti-I would feel better if he would quit asking). You guys saying too much Mule should stay home, if you don't like Mule this is not for you. My only complaint about Wanee was the Mule sets were too short. Since Warren and Billy are already there why not throw in a Dead show? Does anybody know if latenights are extra $-I want to see Umphreys and they do a lot of festival latenights.

Its not extra charge. The late night setups cool, one under the stars, one inside more cozy. HOWEVER last year on paper, the late nights where 1-4, and both inside and out where asked to start packin up by 3, very lame, especially cuz darkstar outdoors didnt get started till 1.30 due to nice mule finally.

MountainJam.com and their official emails state on the fest poster that Allmans headline Sunday, with Mule to go Friday/Saturday. I also think there will be some more bands added. The bone I have to pick with the lineup is Franti. He is awful. Can someone explain how is even remotely entertaining? Otherwise, the lineup looks like it'd be a good time.

why do people have to say if you have a problem with the mule..don't go. i like the mule, but just would rather have some other bands in there as mule will play for 6 hours and i've seen them many times; there are 30 other bands one might be interested in checking out..though none that have a lead singer who looks as much like a lion.

I would like to take this opportunity as a southern gentelman, to invite everybody down(or over, or up for that matter) to Birmingham to see Umphrey's Mcgee, two nights in a row at the workplay, March 4th and 5th.
