This Spring will bring Euforquestra to The Fox Theatre in Boulder and The Aggie Theatre in Fort Collins as support for dub heroes John Brown’s Body. April will include Euforquestra supporting a three-night run on Colorado’s Front Range with Colorado greats The Motet. Euforquestra will join Madison’s Natty Nation for its second annual “4/20 Celebration” at the Majestic Theatre in Madison. Capping off the season, with great anticipation, Euforquestra will record the band’s heavily-awaited first live album April 24 and 25 at its former home base of The Iowa City Yacht Club.
Look for many more Euforquestra dates this Spring and Summer including Wakarusa Camping and Music Festival and Euforquestra’s 6th installment of its own festival, Camp Euforia, just outside of Iowa City.

Euforquestra (pronounced “yoo-fohr-keh-struh” – Euphoria+Orchestra+flavór) is a cutting-edge, world beat ensemble out of Fort Collins, CO, (originally from Iowa City, IA) with influences spanning a wide array of traditional music and culture from all over the globe. The band has made it a mission to preserve cultural traditions, while at the same time innovating by fusing different worldly styles and original ideas. The self-proclaimed “Afro-Caribbean-Barnyard-Funk” brings an explosive sound, moving crowds all over the nation, while touching on such genres as Afrobeat, Afro-Cuban, Samba, Soca, Funk, Reggae, Salsa, Calypso, and Bluegrass. As percussionist and lead vocalist, Matt Grundstad, puts it, “Euforquestra just wants to make people dance…”
