BoomBox NYE Post Panic

BoomBox Set to Ring in the New Year in Colorado
After Widespread Panic Join BoomBox and Everyone Orchestra at the Crown Plaza Hotel

BoomBox
The electronic musical duo BoomBox, known for their non-stop dance parties and explosive live shows, will be playing two extraordinary late night New Years 2008 shows in Denver.

Featuring DJ/producer Russ Randolph and singer/songwriter/guitarist Zion Rock Godchaux the duo will kick things off on Tuesday, December 30 at Owsley's Golden Road, the evening will feature special guests Melvin Seals & JGB as well as Steve Kimock and Friends opening the night. BoomBox will take to the stage from 1:30 a.m. to 4:30 a.m., keeping the party going until the early morning hours. Individual tickets for the first night are available online at cervantes.baselineticketing.com.

On New Year's Eve, BoomBox moves the party down the road to the Crown Plaza Hotel in the heart of downtown Denver. Hosting their very own late night NYE show destined to be another all night extravaganza, festivities will begin immediately following the Widespread Panic show. The extended BoomBox set will feature an appearance by the Everyone Orchestra and will no doubt feature several other surprise guests converging upon the Mile High City for the night. Expect the likes of Melvin Seals, Steve Kimock and members of Hot Buttered Rum as BoomBox jams into the early morning.

The only way to secure a spot to this NYE show is to purchase one of the excellent travel packages offered by Sage and Spirit Travel. Packages start as low as $54.16 per person per day and include a room at the Crown Plaza Hotel, a shuttle to and from the BoomBox and Widespread Panic shows and admittance to the 12.30 and 12.31 BoomBox shows at no extra charge. All packages can be purchased through www.sageandspirittravel.com or by calling (303) 954-8375.

Read the Sage and Spirit disclosure. You're not guranteed to get in the late nights. We booked through them and only this week saw that wristbands mean if the shows are not sold out(expcept for the aforementioned Boom Box show), then you get in....

I kind of feel like they went out of their way not to tell us.

If a show does sell out and you have the wristband, you have the same chance as someone that doesnt have a ticket. Its a great deal.. plus the wristband comes with soo many great artists! And the hotel is strictly reserved for the kids.. no random old people.. so its gonna be a festie in the hotel!!! I got my room, see all yall smiling faces into the new year!

They definitely went out of their way to not tell anyone that the wristbands do not automatically get you into the show of your choice. Kind of sketch.

Schmirtz.. You have just as good of a chance gettin in with a wristband as somebody with out a ticket after Widespread.. If you have a wristband get there early as possible so it doesnt sell out.. 3 nights of hot buttered ... boombox etc.. plus 3 nights to stay in a crazy fun hotel. is mos def worth the money.

went to both fox and cervantes last time Bbox was in CO and both places were slammed and when they came to copper we got shut out because the place was so slammed. Been to a bunch of other copper shows and I have never seen the place like that before.

I remember going to see these guys in our hometown at a little art gallery where they played every month or so for no more than 30 or so "friends". I'm so glad to see them hit the big time!
