This opening comeback is going to be nothing but a novelty for so many people, this announcement is fantastic but the logistics are horrendous. Let's book a 3 day weekend in Hampton and offer EVERYBODY the opportunity for pre-booking? It's not like only "fans" are going to be prebooking tickets, what are they trying to achieve? People are going to not get tickets and be stuck with non-refundable hotel rooms.. people will not be happy. I am glad the boys are back, but it could be done in a much more phan-friendly way.

I totally agree, but I must point out that there a many young people who actually do LOVE Phish and haven't been able to see them. Aafter I heard my first phish song in a friends car , AC/DC Bag, I began listening to them religiously. I watched all the DVD's, listened to a lot of AUD recordings and some SBD's and all I did for months was immerse myself in the music of Phish. to a point of obsession. Phish's improvisation got me really interested in watching and listening to bands that put on a damn good live show because of their improvisational skills. I have seen a fair amount of shows considering that I live in a town with a terrible music scene. However, I NEVER GOT TO SEE PHISH. I am not going to a Phish show looking for drugs, I can get them at home if and when I want, or just go to any "jamband" show if that was the reason I wanted to go. I would enjoy Phish even if I was sober (wouldn't be though), but my point is that any young person at the show shouldn't be written off a some sort of "Poser" because you never know that young kid may know more about Phish than many of the people there. However, I do think that ANYONE, REGARDLESS OF AGE, who wants to go to a Phish show so they can get as fucked up as they possibly can and not for the amazing music, should not even THINK about going.
