Eagles of Death Metal Tour

Band Set to Release Heart On on October 28 via Downtown Records

Eagles of Death Metal
Making of Eagles of Death Metal's Heart On

Following a successful, co-headlining tour with The Hives, much to the delight of Texans, Californians, and Arizonians everywhere and to the disappointment of everywhere else-ians, Eagles of Death Metal are getting ready to seduce the country. Eagles are ready to strike a city near you like a swift karate slap to the jugular. After unleashing Heart On to the masses, the courageous cast of characters will hit the open waters on the first headlining tour for the soaked-in-sexy new album.

The EODM formula for fantastic is humm... let's see... that's one part Jesse "Boots Electric" Hughes, one part Joshua "Babyduck" Homme. Stirred and served chillllled in a tall glass of class. It goes down smooth every time. Earlier this year, the two captains of the EODM starship left their underground lair 16 kilometers below the earth's core to lay down a dozen new rumpshaking, rock hard rock tunes. The Dream Duo recorded in Burbank, Los Angeles, Boise, Fargo, and Amsterdam, and were joined by fellow magicians Miss Kat Von D, Brian "B.O.C." O'Connor, Darlin' Dave Catching, Alain Johannes, Troy Van Leeuwen, Brody "Queen Bee" Dalle, and Kim "Koko Bubbles" Martinelli.

Always appreciate a good Lebowski quote... and I have to agree with him too. And something like 99.99% of metal is lame IMO.

yes these guys are funky and hilarious. nothing like the eagles, death metal, or even queens of the stone(d)age really.. i dig these dudes quite a bit. i've seen queens and it rocked but now i'm ready to see the EODM and they, like many others, are completely ignoring st. louis on this tour. bogus? yeah definitely bogus.

Michael Savage - KYUSS doesn't reform because nobody knew who they were the first time around and they made no money. So why would they reform when Josh Homme is now living the rock star life and making a ton of cash?

And if you listen to what Josh and Kyuss' singer John Garcia have done since then, you can see why they split. I think they've both come full circle though, and a tour will probably happen one day. John came out last Xmas and did 3 Kyuss gems with QOTSA and the buzz grew. Maybe a Queens/Hermano (Garcia's latest) tour would bridge the gap... as for the EODM tour... 8 hrs to see it, but well worth the trip.
