I live in Boulder. My town has some of the best jambands, reggae, funk, world, afrobeat, hip-hop, rap, and bluegrass in USA (in the world, actually). Boulder is beautiful, and the weather is almost perfect and it is expensive to buy a home but affordable enough to rent a room in a house. The college is great and the partying scene is top-notch and Boulder is awesome BUT it is basically white, really white, and that is confusing because a lot of people who live in Boulder moved there from NYC or Denver or San Franciso or Las Angeles and it is different from what we are used to (a lot of us are not used to almost non-diversity, and also living in a city where almost everyone is of the same physical structure- Boulder was rated the most "sporty" city in the USA)... Anyway, don't put down Boulder, the town has a lot of money and a lot of older and younger people who live there and don't have to work and spend their days biking and hiking and skiing and rock-climbing and that's what its highlights are, and people with money enjoy those highlights- enjoying the outdoors. Anyway, it's a drinking town and people party-down in Boulder...

Good lineup except for Todd Park Snore. Saw him before bisco and umphreys at Green Apple a few years back, it damn near put the entire crowd to sleep. quite boring.

I like my bubble in Boulder. They also haven't annouced sts9 as the second headliner {inside information}. So if you don't like beautiful Boulder stay away. We don't care. We live in paradise!

Boulder is overrated, however they do get great music almost all year round.

ive never seen so many haters in my life other then jam base. its kinda sad consider the fact that the jam scene isnt about all the hatin. just enjoy music. just b/c a festival doesnt have every single band you like doenst mean its not gonna be a good time. it think this festival seems pretty fun to me. p.s. IF YOUR GOING TO RED ROCKS STS9 WEEKEND, SEE YOU THERE!!!

That's funny, I just went to the Tatanka Music Festival in Victor Idaho two months ago. It was a benefit for the Buffalo Field Campaign. There was 12 bands over 2 days and it was only $30. How about a little original thinking!! Or better yet how about giving a portion of the profits to the Buffalo Field Campain and try to save the last Wild Buffalo herd in existence. There are only 2000 left and the Montana Division of Livestock is hell bent on killing them all. From 40 million to 2000.......... How about it Tatanka got any extra for the Bison? Or are you just ripping off the name? It would be a shame to only exploit the bison more!

Maybe next year we will call it Bonnaroo!!

boulder is the trustafarian capitol of the usa - great music, better scenery... if it was affordable i'd like it better, but if it was affordable every hippie would be there - fort collins is sick too, cheaper, and they even have bike libraries where you can rent a bicycle, for free, for a week.

Did you see the late night at the Boulder Theater? I herd it is going to 4am. This fest looks better than Mile High fest. At the beach and not on a soccer field. Finally a fest in Boulder. I hope you all support this fest so that they can build it for the future. We all love music. So be nice, relax, and lets have a pow wow in a TEE PEE! Nice name to.
