Why do "music aficionados" continue to confuse Voodoo Chile with Voodoo Child (Slight Return)? They are COMPLETELY different songs. The song above is Voodoo Child (Slight Return). Get it right folks... both here AND Robert Randolph's Bonnaroo performance.

The best to come out of Boston thus far, had to be Dispatch at the MDC Hatchshell farewell show. That was amazing!

I hope more artists will be announced here. I went on the website and found nothing about artists, just the cities they were going too...

Robert Randolph grew up in the same city as me, right on Robert. Irvington, NJ. Real bad ghetto neighborhood. It was bed then, but its even worse now. I wonder what street he lived on

Smittea, please explain the differences in Voodoo Chile and Voodoo Child (Slight Return), because to the ears of this "music aficionado" there is very little difference...hardly a COMPLETE difference wouldn't ya say?

Wait... You're not confusing Voodoo Chile and Highway Chile are you?

Go buy Electric Ladyland and you'll hear that they are 2 totally different songs. Voodoo Chile is a straight blues song. Voodoo Child (Slight Return) is the song posted above. Not the same song.

Anyhway. Very excited for the Life is good Fest.

Sounds good. If I lived in Boston I'd be there. I have to say, no city's free concert series can hold a candle to Buffalo's. Enjoy.
