yea, a few good ones, but why is this "new announcements"? like they could even put on a camp bisco without bassnectar? and shpongle?

i thought that was a given in the ticket price.

this looks tight, i just got back from the chicago pnuma/eliot lipp show and they tore it up. it was supposed to be at a bar but it got moved to the lakeshore theater which is mostly seated, but we made the most of the little dance floor up front... and to the haters: 'that's just like your opinion, man' anyway i'd love to make it to this but i'll be jammin in chicago at the tribe/umph/tribe shows...

Can't wait to hear some of the new Shpongle material. I was one of the suckers that stood outside of the sold out Highline show for 3 hours with the hopes of them supposedly releasing 100 tickets. Turns out they overbooked the f--- out of the place and even cut off will call at one point.

Fuck it dude, let's go bowling.

Hate on the Disco Biscuits as much as you want, but hear me now when I say that Camp Bisco VII will be THE east coast festival of 2008. Hands down.

Did someone really make the statement, "EOTO for life". If you think EOTO is good then you know nothing about musicianship and phrasing. I saw EOTO last month in Ann Arbor and it was one of the most boring, unfocused shows I have ever seen. There was about 60 people there and about 5 were feelin' the show. They are terrible. Sorry Cheesefans.

you are what should be wiped out...fucking haters. If it's not your scene, whatever. But you come on jambase bashing bisco as if it makes any difference to anyone's enjoyment of their music. Get a life and go listen to something else rather than talking shit and being violent. way to generalize people...any intelligent person can see that's exactly what you're doing. sorry you cant handle the bisco heat

I went 2 years ago but got scared away by the state police presence and the shady bisco kids. As a result I skipped it last year. However, my sources tell me that changes have been made and the state police are no longer an issue. I'm really excited about possibly of seeing DJ Shadow, Bassnectar, Pnuma Trio, !!! and The New Deal (seeing them for the 4th time this year). And yes perhaps if the mood strikes me I may even go to 1 or 2 Biscuits sets. I can't wait!

This looks like a lot of good electronic bands and DJ's, I just wish someone besides bisco was hosting it.

OK Im not gonna hate on bisco but if someone can turn me into a believer, I just get really bored with how repetitive they get/plus terrible singing and lyrics.

SO you say you cant stand the bisco heat give me some songs or shows to download, Ive heard story of the road and helicopters, maybe a few others but thought it sucked.

I really have tried to force myself to like these guys but about an hour into every show end up leaving cause bores me.

Camp bisco was awesome last year - except for that tornado!

Lineup looks sick, and it'll be funny to see snoop in that environment. ILCC is a chill place, and last year all of these "Shady bisco kids" that you speak so much about were a bunch of super nice, well behaved kids.

Unfortunately, the GRASSROOTS festival of music and dance is the same weekend just a couple hours away so i'll trade that "untz-untz" latenight for zydeco.

Enjoy, and quit being douchebags just because you don't like a band.

Seriously, anyone bitching about this fest is just a bored whiney little kid who does as much drugs as the next wook but acts all high and mighty on the internet. Shpongle and Younger Brother? thats such a big fucking deal. Big ups to bisco, or the event organizers, for booking them - thats fucking insane. Bisco fan or not, this fest is bringing a unique lineup for an event in the US and hating on it is a pointless waste of time.

Grateful Dread

To all the Bisco bashers out there, keep this in mind before you take your next sip of Haterade. Simon Posford, of Shpongle, Hallucinogen, Younger Brother, is a world renowned DJ/producer. People travel all over the globe to see the "Twisted Magician" perform. He doesn't come to the States too often, but when he does it's usually for some type of collaboration with tDB. When I was standing in line for the Highline Ballroom Shpongle show I heard a bunch of people talking about how they only get to see him when he plays Camp Bisco. You've gotta give the Biscuits at least some credit for that.

By the way, I like the Biscuits but I'm not a hardcore fan. I catch a few shows a year and the last few Camps. This year is going to be off the chain.

Disco, Bisco, Trisco, i missed Camp last year but i will hopefully be attending this year. I understand the haters talking about the scene and the kids, which i have to agree with a little but i mean if you dont like it just dont go If you do go just enjoy the music and have fun. These bands are just all about makin you dance, i think anyone should be able to appreciate that at least.

The haters can talk about the scene, and in years past I would have to agree, but it has cleaned up a a lot recently....especially at its new home at ILCC. I saw very little "shadiness" last year at Camp and had an amazing time. I can't wait for this year. The lineup is ridiculous!

snoop dogg should help sell more tickets which by the way is what this is all about.... i really cant get excited for ANY dj...big deal you can spin a record..i hear tons of djs online who absolutely smoke jams 24/7 online.... all modern house/ house club/ hard house/ club / trance/ electronica etc.....seems like all the same bands again... i'm worried for bisco not evolving musically as a band.... a fan for 10+ yrs and listening to old stuff recently made me realize how similar they still sound to 10 years ago.... too bad they wont listen to me anymore since they "made it" now, but the reality is they need something like a horn section or back up singers or an extra drummer keys or guitar player.... something to push them over the edge they created... otherwise I have to say they have peaked and of course only wish the best for them but saddly I dont see much more growth playing the same songs to the same people with the same supporting acts... my opinion only of course.... maybe this peak is high enough for them as it would be most people, but just a couple more notchs to play stadiums and arenas on a regular basis close...yer soooooooooo close!....why not go for the gold!

Talking bad on EOTO is just basically admitting not liking to boogie. Trav and Jason did a 50 states in 50 nights run, starting out west. Maybe just a lil tired by the time they got to MI and/or the ann arbor hater just don't have a clue. EOTO is sick. Been seeing shows for 20 years. Some of the hardest boogiedown music out there. Just the two of them , definetetely preferable over sit in guests.

I hear ya bro.... Anyone that talks shit about EOTO is an idiot nooby.... Ive seen 9 shows of theirs now.... i saw 6 on their '08 run (98 shows in 108 days)... and every show was better than the last.... stupid kids need to get with it. Travis and Hann are geniouses. Period
