Fleet Foxes Add New Band Member & Tour Dates

Basking in the glory of all that reverb and all those harmonies, Fleet Foxes have added another piece to the puzzle with songwriter/drummer/vocalist J. Tillman. You can get more on Tillman at www.myspace.com/jtillman.

Perhaps in honor of Tillman, the Foxes have also added a number of dates to their already long haul through the summer. The band's self-titled full-length debut will be available June 3 on Sub Pop.

The Sun Giant EP is so good my head exploded upon first listen. I was left to put back the pieces, which explains my deviated septum.

These guys are amazing. The EP is incredible. I wasn't aware that the LP was out yet, or did you get a leaked copy? I thought it came out in June. I saw them last week and their harmonies didn't suffer a bit in the live setting. It was at a venue that is usually loud and chatty and the entire audience was rapt, silent. I heard that they practice harmonizing for a couple hours everyday. It shows.
