Greyboy Allstars Spring Tour

Greyboy Allstars Spring Tour / Jazz Fest Show Added

Greyboys Allstars
Due to overwhelming demand, Greyboy Allstars have added a late night Jazz Fest show at the House of Blues on Thursday May 1 at 2 a.m. Tickets are available now from GBA Ticketing: and House of Blues: The HOB show kicks off the Allstars 2008 Jazz Fest run, which include a show on the Riverboat Creole Queen on Friday May 2 and a late night gig on Saturday May 3 at 2 a.m. at Tipitina's.

On another note, the Greyboy Allstars will be returning to the road in April taking on the East Coast after a very successful Northwest trip in March. Performing to sell out crowds, the band broke out a number of tunes that have never been performed live. The upcoming run has the band hitting spots missed on their previous tours, as well as returning to their favorite locales.

This will be the last tour from the band for a while as everyone focuses on their other projects:

Karl Denson will be touring the globe with former bossman Lenny Kravitz for most of the year, and he is also planning on recording a new Tiny Universe record.

Robert Walter will be touring with his trio in support of his most recent release, Cure All, available now from Palmetto Records, and will also be handling keyboard duties for Susan Tedeschi on her upcoming album and tour.

Elgin Park (aka Michael Andrews) will continue to produce records, including an upcoming release with Van Dyke Parks and Inara George in an orchestral setting, as well as working on a new film (or two or three).

Chris Stillwell will continue to sell the most rare and in-demand records on eBay.

Aaron Redfield will continue working as in-demand LA session musician.

The Allstars are also planning a return to the studio in the fall to work on the follow-up to 2007's What Happened To Television?.

robert walter's cure all is fun. james singleton and johnny vidacovich, highly recommended.

also, glad to see robert is going to be touring with susan tedeschi; it'll bring my dream of a robert walter/derek trucks collaboration closer to fruition.

Gonna be a haul from Charlotte > Wanee > Raleigh, but I know theyre up for it. After all, Karl Denson is the hardest working man in showbusiness.

Hey DCKNYC - I'm not sure if you know this or not but I believe there are some live gigs of robert and derek playing on together -- check it out - and the collabaration I always wanted to see, btw, was derek/charlie hunter, and russell baptiste jr. --- how hot would that be - so hot paris hilton might gain control of the one side of her stroke face

Raleigh show last night was very nice. Warren Haynes coming out in the first set stole the show. I believe Karl D said that was the first time GBA's played together with Warren. It was worth staying out late on a Sun night!
