I'm psyched for this. Plus, and I may be in the minority here on JamBase, but I simply can NOT get enough of the Montbleau Band. If you haven't checked them out yet, they're certianly worth the listen. See y'all there... peas.

im not familiar with the area but maine is beautiful, are there cheap hotels or inns around th=e venue?

there's plenty of cheap lodging around that area. if you have time, take the ferry out for a tour of the islands. its pretty sweet out there

I'm not a huge moe. fan but this will be awesome. Portland is finally getting some love from someone. Rob lives in the next town over so i'm sure that has something to do w/ it. Anyone in the portland area should go to EOTO tonight.

Sweet so much love from moe. to all of us here on the East coast Montbleau Band rips shit up I have seen them with moe. at moe.down last year snoe.down last year and they played with moe. at Hampton Beach 2 years ago plus about 30 other times so check them out. Peace!!

Portland is a wonderful city - especially great to take in on a july weekend of music and fun.

Hotels in the old port section are slim- check for the holiday inn ($$)or the little boutique regency ($$$).

Definately agree - hit the ferry and spend a day out in casco bay islands - peaks has a cool bar

On the other hand you can cruise 15 minutes down to some sick beaches - I reccomend Higgins Beach in Scarborough

Check the portland headlight or just sample microbrews around the city -

Gritty's is the bomb, but there are ltterally 40 bars and 7+ microbrews in a 10 block radius... Which makes the old port crazy on a hot summer night.

Maine is awesome, just moved from there. Possesion is $300 civil infraction, lots of hippies and laid bac crowd. Not sketchy at all. Its a great place to see a show, the black crowes played there last summer. If your there on the Thursday check out, " band beyond description" at the big Easy in the old port. Good times and good vibes....

This is SOOOOO SWEET!!! I live in Gorham so two day keggah at my place freaks.

I can't wait to sink my Lobster claws into this sick couple of Portland shows....A semi home show for moe. and tons of local RyanHeads...This should be a weekend to remember. Portland rocks and aftershows should keep you up late.

That parking garage literally feet away is going to be on fucking fire! Glad I own a house on Peaks Island!
