Stunning shots of one of the greatest blues players in the world. Love Johnny Winter, I have been seeing him play since the early 90's.

My uncle turned me onto Johnny in the late 80's and early 90's and I try to see him as much as I can. The last couple of years, he is playing great and is in better health too.

chambeal, Johnny's live shows are amazing. He is truly one of the greatest blues guitarists/singers of all time in my opinion. Definately a legend!

Man Johnny Winter has been in my town twice, and it's sold out both times and I couldn't get tickets. I've always wanted to see him. Def. one of the living legends of blues. Did anyone see his performance with Derek Trucks @ the Crossroads festival? Awesome Highway 61...

I have been seeing Johnny for at least 25 years. I remember the very first tune I saw him play, I had to go home and learn it and I still play it today. I'm glad to hear that he is doing well health-wise and playing well; the last time I saw him, maybe five years ago, he was a virtual shadow of himself and needed help just putting on his guitar- I think it was a bad patch for him, so I'm real heppy he is better. If you have never seen him, make sure you make an effort to do so.

Does anyone know who is that blond guitarist with Johnny Winter is? He is amazing?
