Brett Dennen Announces Spring Dates
Out Of The Wilderness And Into The National Spotlight
Brett Dennen, one of Rolling Stone's "Artists to Watch in 2008," will
headline dates across North America this May with Mason Jennings and Missy Higgins in a tour sponsored by Paste Magazine and in a
partnership with CLIF Bar/GreenNotes. Kicking off in Indianapolis on
May 1, Dennen's first national tour of 2008 will build on the momentum
created by his recent national television appearances on Last Call with
Carson Daly and Jimmy Kimmel Live. The self-proclaimed "wilderness
survivor" - Dennen spent time his early twenties living in the Sierra
Mountains - will also perform at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage
Festival, Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, Wakarusa Music and
Camping Festival, Telluride Bluegrass Festival and the Rothbury Music
Festival this summer.
2007 was a stellar year for Brett Dennen. In addition to being named an
"Artist to Watch," his track "She's Mine" was #1 on USA Today's
Playlist (August 7) and he was featured in the LA Times, who
breathlessly declared: "Dennen is ecstatic and hopeful." Dennen also
sold out his biggest headlining shows to date at places like The
Fillmore (San Francisco), The Bowery Ballroom (NYC) and the El Rey
Theatre (LA).
