CELEBRATE AND THINK, DANCE AND INTERACT
PARTY NASA STYLE !

Capacitor by Dennis Sanner
Yuri’s Night 2008 is a fusion of a technology expo, an art exhibition and a music festival, all rolled into one. The 12-hour event takes place April 12, 2008 at the NASA Ames Research Center at Moffett Field in Mountain View, CA.

In addition to a full line-up of music, attendees will have the chance to chat with Bay Area enterpreneurs and NASA engineers showcasing their newest technologies. There will be thought-provoking pieces of science-inspired artwork and a “Festival of Ideas,” where you can participate in open discussions and listen to speeches from distinguished technology leaders. There will also be live aerial performance and dance by Capacitor, alien insects by Bad Unkl Sista, gravity defying stilt performances by The VonStilt Family and more!

The theme for Yuri’s Night Bay Area 2008 is Radical Technology for a Sustainable Future. This year, in addition to celebrating and learning about mankind’s legacy of space exploration, you will see art, science, and technology demonstrations showcasing the breakthroughs that will help us preserve our planet and our species, and hear from the brightest minds who are developing these technologies and helping to shape our future.
