Very true statement. I've been seeing DMB live for the past 7 years and the crowd deff can suck. I focus on the music and watch the greatness unfold.

DMB rules. Again the bashing because of the crowd or because they have mainstream appeal. You guys are pathetic. Call me crazy but i think that 2 night stand at alpine valley with the Crowes sounds amazing!

my first dave show was in '96 and bela fleck and the entire flecktones joined them on stage for almost an hour of intense jamming, the scene was cool and laid back and all was great. . . .. fast forward 7 years and the scene sucks, a lot of disrespectful fratboy fans and drunks, and the jams didn't really "progress". . . . . I've got no interest in him now, which is really sad. . . . .

DMB...solid band...ok songs...but the people who go to his concerts...not all of them, but most...just annoy the shit out of me

Yeah, the DMB crowd isn't what it used to be. They still can put on a good show here or there. When they bust out some deep cut songs and actually play some integral and progressive songs, they can be some intense emotional music. I'm thinking DMB is gonna pull out some heavyweight guest artist (hopefully Warren or JB) at Rothbury. If Dave would just learn to solo this band would be a lot better, but since he plays for mostly a bunch of drunk fratboys, he doesn't need to do much to please them (if they are even paying attention. Eh, they still right good songs. Man f*ckin "bros", they gotta ruin everything.

3 at the Greek to close it out...very, nice. I was beginning to get annoyed at drunks yelling at me for stepping on their Abercrombie blankets on the Shoreline lawn...eh hee...

I've seen Dave a few times and I've always been on the lawn or in the nose bleeds...This year I'm gonna try warehouse even though its a ripoff and hopefully i could score just one pair of seats outta the saratoga shows or darien lake. If not i'll sell them off to some abercrombie blanket frat ppl who will pay up the ass for them on ebay :P And if Warren Haynes comes out for DMB or Phil Lesh at Rothbury that would be a nice treat. Rock on my jamBaserS!

Just enjoy the music and dance, fuck the frat kids, i'm sure they don't give a shit about you either. I can hear the bass, the jams are very together. If you don't even like dave then how do you know about how loud or soft the bass is in concert. I have an idea, don't go if you don't their music, its that simple.

I been a Dave fan for many years , I hate the 16yr olds and the fratpunks, but I still love the music so I tough it out.

Say what you will about the band, but the crowd is Custie Heaven. You can sell these kids shit on a skewer and call it "Thai Stick" and rage it all day long. Hell, These kids have more money to spend than any scene I've ever seen. Just rage the lot, get back in your car and shoot across ton for a real show. I hit the lot at Red Rocks just about every year, and while I may want to vomit from the stuff I see and hear while there, I always drive away with a pocket full of cash.

Bunch of angry hippies are ya...there are plenty of bands I don't care for. To each his/her own. If you don't like the crowd don't go! I followed the dead for 10 years, see over 100 shows a year and I enjoy DMB for sure. DMB doesn't always have the greatest jams or the greatest crowd. But I can remember the same scene at The Dead.Agreed, the clean Abercrombie frat boys and karoake thing are odd and don't interest me. I just ignore them and gravitate towards the cool folks.I'll be at The Gorge gettin' loose!

i am graduating soon cutty, and moving to a city for a job as well. I hate fucking yuppies and pointless people like you. most of the fans want to hear his pop shit on the radio, because most of the his fans dont know how much talent this band actually has. i can say that DMB pretty much perfects how he and his members play each night, which i find to be great. Many of his fans dont realize that. just like jerry said man, its people like you that bring dave such bad bibes and bad crowds. hope to see you CRASH into me soon in your sweet pink polo and vodka red bull BITCH.

Note to dave-please never play the following songs again EVER-Crash, Ants Marching, What Would you Say, So much to Say, Satellite, and for god sakes STAY, possibly the geighest crap ever.

And How bout a Dave and Tim tour like this? Not Dave and friends so you can play your solo garbage, just dave and tim.

i have so much respect for dmb,ive seen them about 7 times.but after starting to get into cheese, moe., ext., i realized how watered down the jams are and had no real energy. with moe.,cheese, the jams are so different and fresh everytime you see them.you never know whats going to happen within a song, but with dave its set in stone what they are going to do and nothing changes within a song.its like if moe played meat the exact same every fuckin time,it wouldnt be as fresh.example knoxville show last week ,meat was different from the meat i saw in 05 in asheville. he is a great song writer and dave and tim would be cool to see,but it just got boring.also the fans suck balls. the last time i went to a show and i was just where some patchwork pants, and i got looked at like i was crazy or some shit. fuck overall fanbase of dave(some are cool) but fuck most.i will never go back to dave in my life, peace.

I have seen dave several times and respect his music, no I don't consider myself a fan. how do I feel about his fanbase? who gives a fuck!!! if ya dig the music a couple'popped collar pink polo frat boys' are NOT going to ruin your experiance. get over it and yourselves you shallow fucks!!

i have been to over 50 dmb and i will tell you that if you don't want to be around frat boys, don't sit in the lawn. plain and simple. People have to understand that for dave its more about his lyrics, not really the jamming. i am not talking about his gay ass love songs, i am talking about his real music, dreaming tree, typical situation, last stop, stone and there are more. All you people on here must have been to dave shows, you all talk like you are fucking pro's when it comes to them.
