Pearl Jam Hints At New York City Related Announcement

Earlier today Pearl Jam Tweeted “Stay tuned.” along with a photo featuring the words “Pearl Jam Special Announcement Coming Soon” posted on what appears to be the entrance to a New York City subway station. The photo also uses images associated with NYC’s subway system.

While there’s no additional details at the moment, we don’t think it’s a stretch to say the announcement pertains to New York City. The biggest rumor circulating among Pearl Jam fans is that the band will play this year’s installment of the Global Citizen Festival in Central Park on September 26. As the band advises, “stay tuned!”
