Vedder was in a talkative mood throughout the night as he discussed Pearl Jam’s early performances at Bogart’s, the time Keith Richards pulled out a knife and most notably put his support behind baseball legend Pete Rose’s campaign to finally enter the sport’s Hall Of Fame. Eddie mentioned both Pete and his son, Pete Jr., were in attendance and noted he had hung out with Rose the previous evening.
Watch Eddie’s comments about Pete Rose and the Hall Of Fame:
Pearl Jam’s 19-song main set included a number of songs from their most recent album, Lightning Bolt, as well as the Binaural rarity “Of The Girl” and Riot Act’s “Love Boat Captain.” They also worked in a cover of The Rolling Stones’ “Waiting On A Friend.”
Check out Pearl Jam’s cover of “Waiting On A Friend” and the “Jeremy” that followed:
Take a look at “Daughter” featuring a bit of “Another Brick In The Wall Pt. 2”:
The band’s 14-song encore included just the 17th ever live take on the Yield track “All Those Yesterdays” as well as covers of “Rockin’ In The Free World” by Neil Young and The Who’s “The Real Me.”
While the video of this “The Real Me” clip isn’t great, the audio’s just fine:

Pearl Jam’s fall tour continues tomorrow night in St. Louis.
