Phases organizers have tapped Grace Potter & The Nocturnals to perform at this year’s festival in the spot previously occupied by Bobby. “Upon hearing the news of Bob Weir & Ratdog, we had three things to consider. Who would be a great fit for our first festival? Who would give the fans an incredible show? And, of course, who could do it on such short notice?” said Phases of the Moon Founder Sam Shear Shear. “Grace Potter & The Nocturnals were at the top of that list and we are so excited and beyond grateful that they could make this happen, especially considering they have their own festival that same weekend. To coin a phrase that ties in with Phases of the Moon, the planets have lined up.”
Grace Potter & The Nocturnals join a lineup that includes headliners The String Cheese Incident and Widespread Panic, along with Tedeschi Trucks Band, Gov’t Mule, Leon Russell, Galactic, Robert Randolph & The Family Band, Chris Robinson Brotherhood, Jackie Greene, Railroad Earth, Vintage Trouble, Donavon Frankenreiter, Sam Bush Band, Nicki Bluhm & The Gramblers, Martin Sexton, Anders Osborne, Leftover Salmon with Bill Payne of Little Feat, Kung Fu, The California Honeydrops, Toubab Krewe, Mingo Fishtrap, Futurebirds, Artist-In-Residence David Gans and many more. Phases Of The Moon takes place in Danville, IL September 11 -14. Tickets are available via the event’s website.
