Leftover Salmon Announces Weekend At The Stanley Hotel

Writer Stephen King stayed at the 140-room neo-Georgian Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, CO; which inspired him to write The Shining. The hotel is so proud of its role in The Shining that they show the Kubrick film based on the book on a continuous loop through one of the hotel’s in-house television channels. Live music fans will have a chance to inhabit the 100+ year old hotel this coming March, when Leftover Salmon plays three shows at The Stanley.

It’s only fitting that LoS’s weekend at The Stanley kicks off on Friday The 13th of March and runs through the 15th. Leftover Salmon will be joined by Little Feat keyboardist Bill Payne for their performances at the Estes Park, CO hotel and mandolin wiz Sam Bush for shows on Friday and Saturday.

Tickets for the intimate weekend event will go on sale July 28. For a short time three day passes will be available for $150, which include admission to all musical events, including: Leftover Salmon performances on Friday and Saturday evening with special guest Sam Bush, a Leftover Salmon acoustic show on Sunday, and a special matinee pick will take place on Saturday afternoon.

More musical acts and activities will be announced at a later date. Special room rate for LoS fans will be available at the Stanley Hotel.
