Bob Weir Guests With Avett Brothers At Red Rocks

Last night, Bob Weir & RatDog opened for The Avett Brothers at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO. Members of the Avetts sat in with RatDog during the opening set, before Weir guested with the Avetts during their headlining performance at the iconic venue.

Bobby and his band were given an extended slot for the kickoff set. RatDog opened the evening with “Help”/”Slip” and brought their main set to a close with a version of “Franklin’s Tower” that featured three members of The Avett Brothers. Later in the evening, Weir emerged during the Avett Brothers’ set for takes on “Goin’ Down The Road Feeling Band,” “Little Sadie” and “Uncle John’s Band.”
