Happy Mother’s Day | Mama I’m Coming Home

The JamBase staff would like to wish a very happy Mother’s Day to both our moms and every mother out there. While we’d like to think we appreciate our mothers 365 days a year, today gives us another chance to show our love for those who raised us.

One of our favorite mother-related songs is a tune that’s not even really about a mom -Ozzy Osbourne’s “Mama, I’m Coming Home.” Osbourne wrote the 1991 hit about his wife and manager, Sharon, but since many of us are traveling today to see our mothers we thought it was a good fit. Plus, Lemmy of Motorhead co-wrote the song, so there’s that. To all the mothers out there, thank you so much for all you do and for understanding and nurturing our love of live music.
