Update 4/30 12:30 p.m. PT: Rolling Stone has removed mention of Phil & Bobby performing together from their article on Lockn.

Ever since Phil Lesh and Bob Weir announced they were putting Furthur on hiatus, both men have mentioned they would perform together at some point in 2014, though not with Furthur. Today, we’ve learned this performance will take place at the Lockn’ Festival in Arrington, VA between September 4 and 7 thanks to Rolling Stone. Rolling Stone mentioned that Phil & Bobby would team for a collaborative performance, but that part has been removed from the article.

The Rolling Stone article contained the unveiling of the daily schedule, which confirmed that The Revivalists, No BS Brass Band and Aaron Freeman’s Freeman will perform at Lockn’.

Lesh’s band for Lockn’ will feature guitarists Warren Haynes and John Scofield, keyboardist John Medeski and drummer Joe Russo. Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, the Allman Brothers Band and Drive-By Truckers are among the other acts set to play Lockn’ ’14. Tickets for the event are on sale now.
