Pro-Shot Video | Umphrey’s McGee Covers Toto’s Africa

One of our favorite covers of the hundreds Umphrey’s McGee has played over the years is their take on Toto’s ’80s classic “Africa.” On December 19, 2013 the band offered a version of the tune at the Mayan Holidaze festival in Mexico that featured a change to the song’s familiar lyrics. 
After UM and Mayan Holidaze attendees withstood rains at the beginning of Mayan Holidaze the band altered “Africa” to “Mexico.” An amazing professionally-shot video of the performance, which incorporates footage from the scene at Holidaze, has been posted on the Cloud 9 Adventures YouTube channel:
