The Phish front man and his solo band completely alternated the setlist from night-to-night as there were no repeats in Denver. Last night’s first set saw a mix of TAB classics like “Night Speaks,” “Sweet Dreams Melinda” and “Land of Nod” with covers of “Ooh Child” and “Small Axe” and three new originals. Among the three new originals in the opening stanza was “Lever Boy,” a song that was demoed by Trey and Tom Marshall in December of 2008:

Also debuted in Set One was “Bounce,” which Leslie Simon of Westword describes as “another new song that had a poppy, almost ’60s variety hour feel to it.” The second set contained the debuts of “In Rounds” and “Very Far Away,” along with more familiar material. TAB capped off the evening with Jennifer Hartswick handling vocals on a cover of “Black Dog” by Led Zeppelin.

Here’s the setlist from last night’s show with a hat tip to Phil Rollins:

Set One: Mozambique, Spin, Alaska, Ooh Child, A Case Of Ice And Snow, Paper Wheels#, Land Of Nod, Bounce#, Lever Boy#, Small Axe, Sweet Dreams Melinda, Wherever You Find It, Night Speaks To A Woman

Set Two: Alive Again, In Rounds#, Simple Twist Up Dave, Very Far Away#, Scabbard, Goodbye Head, Show Of Life, Last Tube, Clint Eastwood, Push On ‘Til The Day
