Weir Guests With My Morning Jacket At One Big Holiday

Last night My Morning Jacket played their first of three full shows at the Hard Rock Hotel in Riviera Maya, Mexico as part of One Big Holiday. Furthur / Grateful Dead guitarist Bob Weir stuck around from his time at Paradise Waits to guest on three songs with MMJ.

Weir emerged towards the end of My Morning Jacket's rarity-filled set for takes on Bob Dylan's "Knockin' On Heaven's Door," the traditional "I Know You Rider" and the Grateful Dead's "Brown-Eyed Women." Bobby first guested with the Louisville-based band at multiple dates of last summer's AmericanaramA tour. MMJ's set also included covers of Bruce Springsteen's "Hungry Heart" and "Tyrone" by Erykah Badu.
