Televised Tune | CNN’s British Invasion Documentary Debuts

2014 marks the 50th anniversary of the British Invasion, so we expect a slew of documentaries about the likes of The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and The Dave Clark Five taking America by storm. This Thursday CNN debuts THE SIXTIES: The British Invasion -a one-hour documentary put together by executive producers Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman that starts with the Fab Four’s historic appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show and goes on to show how music was changed forever by the wave of British bands invading the states.
