Back on December 27 Joe Russo’s Almost Dead played their second-ever show before a large crowd at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY. The band, which features Russo along with Marco Benevento, Scott Metzger, Tom Hamilton and Dave Dreiwitz, mixed up their setlist as compared with the quintet’s debut at Brooklyn Bowl in January of ’13. Recently, an amazing soundboard matrix recording of the Cap show surfaced on archive.org thanks to Pete Costello, Bill Mulvey and Eric McRoberts.

Among the many must-hear performances from the show are the complete “Terrapin Station” suite, an exceptional “Scarlet” > “Fire” and funky-as-hell “Shakedown Street.” Take a listen:

Our pal LazyLightning filmed the show and we’ve compiled his videos from the evening:

Here’s hoping the band plays again soon.
