Jeff Tweedy Ends Tour With Near Repeat-less Four Night Stand

By Scott Bernstein Dec 20, 2013 9:00 am PST

Wilco front man Jeff Tweedy ended his most extensive solo tour in years with a four-show run at Largo at the Coronet in Los Angeles, CA. Tweedy didn’t repeat any songs in L.A. until last night’s tour finale, which only included a handful of tuness he played earlier in the run.

Jeff dug deep into his repertoire to tackle songs from each Wilco album throughout the run as well as tunes from his time with Uncle Tupelo, Loose Fur and Golden Smog. As always, there was plenty of banter unleashed at each performance including his thoughts on the Duck Dynasty controversy last night, when according to a poster on Via Chicago he said of A&E, “What did they expect? That’d be like Animal Planet firing a cheetah for attacking an antelope.” All in all, Tweedy performed 83 different songs throughout the run.
