Guitarist Steve Kimock’s fall tour visited The Hamilton in Washington, D.C. last night, where Kimock and his band were joined by a very special guest -Bob Marley & The Wailers’ guitarist Junior Marvin.
Marvin was the guitarist for Bob Marley and the Wailers from 1977 until the reggae icon’s untimely death in 1981. The Jamaican native went on to record and tour with The Wailers through the late ’80s and ’90s. At Thursday night’s show, Marvin sat in with Kimock on the Marley classic “Lively Up Yourself” handling vocals and adding guitar to the track.
