there is nothing wrong with BB and Jake on acoustics. Every year I wish I could make it to this one.

I went to this last year. It was pretty great. They played No Expectations and Joel Cummings gave what I thought was a pretty humorous read of some beat poetry. Pretty much the whole band except Stasik ended up out there at one point for an all acoustic jam

I have been to this event for the past 3 years and every year it gets better and better. Umphrey's is versatile and while you may not appreciate UM acoustic, there acoustics performances are times when they get even more creative.

cleofus: i'm sure that after you read what you wrote, you'd agree with me when i say that was a pretty shallow thing to say, right?

anyways: i wonder if this and/or the new years shows will sell out...? anyone know from previous years?

cleo your a wouldn't know talent if it bit you on the ass. I'm not here to rip on other bands or other peoples interest in music but Umphrey's Mcgee is a very talented band and all you haters need to get a life!

yes all 3 nights of the new years run will eventually sell out. the first one will def. be the 29th since its the only all-ages show so get that if you didnt get a 3day pass like a few lucky ones hehe myself included. theyve always sold out in previous years though so count on that. I wish I lived closer to the chi but I need to save my money for the new years run. see you all there!
