With the latest Peter Tosh EarthStrong Celebration scheduled for less than a month away (Oct. 19 & 20), we wanted to shine a light on an impressive live performance from the reggae icon.

On July 23, 1980 Tosh and his band took the stage in front of nearly 16,000 reggae fans at the Ontario Place Forum in Toronto, Canada. Peter is in fine form and voice through the 50+ minutes of pro-shot footage from the show that circulates. Highlights include Tosh preaching for the legalization of marijuana during “Bush Doctor,” a powerful rendition of “Get Up Stand Up” filled with just the right amount of rage and an early take on “Buk-In-Hamm Palace” off the recently released Mystic Man LP.
