Sunday Cinema | Peter Tosh Live In Ontario
By Scott Bernstein Sep 29, 2013 • 1:00 pm PDT

On July 23, 1980 Tosh and his band took the stage in front of nearly 16,000 reggae fans at the Ontario Place Forum in Toronto, Canada. Peter is in fine form and voice through the 50+ minutes of pro-shot footage from the show that circulates. Highlights include Tosh preaching for the legalization of marijuana during “Bush Doctor,” a powerful rendition of “Get Up Stand Up” filled with just the right amount of rage and an early take on “Buk-In-Hamm Palace” off the recently released Mystic Man LP.
