Bruce Springsteen Welcomes Fan For Wedding Proposal In Brazil

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band are making their first trip down to South America since 1988 count with marathon performances filled with rarities and classics. Last night at Espaço das Américas in São Paulo, Brazil; The Boss delivered a 29-song performance that included a live debut and even a successful wedding proposal.

Springsteen and his band kicked off Wednesday night’s show with their first-ever take on “Sociedade Alternativa” -a song written by the “Father of Brazilian Rock,” the late Raul Seixas. The New Jersey native had soundchecked the song earlier in the evening. Brazilian fans were also treated to “Prove It All Night” with its ’78 guitar intro, “Bobby Jean” off Born In The USA and an acoustic performance of “This Hard Land” that brought the show to a close. A memorable moment took place during “She’s The One,” when Springsteen brought up a fan to propose to his girlfriend. She said yes! Check it out towards the end of this video:
