Led Zeppelin Postpones Reunion Show After Jimmy Page Breaks Finger

Led Zeppelin
Led Zeppelin is postponing its one-off London reunion concert after guitarist Jimmy Page broke a finger last weekend. The show, which was originally set for Monday, November 26 at the O2 Arena, will now be held December 10 at the same venue.

All tickets for the original date will be valid.

“I am disappointed that we are forced to postpone the concert by two weeks,” Page said in a statement. “We feel that this postponement will enable my injury to properly heal and permit us to perform at the level that both the band and our fans have always been accustomed to.”

The show, which also features Pete Townshend, Bill Wyman and the Rhythm Kings, Paolo Nutini, and Foreigner, is being held to raise money for the Ahmet Ertegun Education Fund, which pays for university scholarships in the U.K., U.S. and Turkey.

In other news, Led Zeppelin’s catalog will be available for the first time at iTunes starting November 13. Fans who pre-order Zeppelin music will be eligible for an all-expenses-paid trip to the London show.
