Earlier this summer legendary alternative rock band The Pixies announced the departure of bassist Kim Deal and then released a new single called "Bagboy". When they unveiled "Bagboy," the band shared a video for the
tune, but apparently one video wasn't enough as today they have put out a second video for
"Bagboy" and announced a series of NYC shows.
The new video for "Bagboy" is about as different from the original clip as it gets. Video
#2 was put together by Kestrel Media and inspired by a piece of art by Vaughan Oliver.
Front man Black Francis told Rolling Stone, "We didn't
set out to have two music videos for 'Bagboy,' but once we saw both of these, we knew we
didn't want to use just one. They're so good, so creative, and each in its own way, and
both made by up-and-coming filmmakers."
