The show will be at the historic Strand Theatre in Dorchester MA, which originally opened in 1918, seats 1400 and has been host to many notable performers including Duke Ellington, Dean Martin and Cab Calloway. The concert is intended to raise money for GUYP and to celebrate the release of their compilation CD also entitled Give US Your Poor, which features tracks by Bruce Springsteen, Jon Bon Jovi, Pete Seeger and more… (And of course Natalie, with whom Marc, Andrew, and EISENHOWER co-producer Matt Ellard helped record the track “No Good Reason” last September at Q-Division Studios in Boston… Go ahead and check out a video of the session here).
To learn more about the organization and the event, visit the official GUYP website.
Don’t forget to buy your tickets to the show early.
