VAMPIRE WEEKEND AND PASSION PIT TO
HEADLINE SEPTEMBER EDITION OF BOSTON FESTIVAL

Over the past two days Crash Line Productions and Bowery Presents teamed up to throw the first-ever Boston Calling music festival at Boston’s City Hall Plaza. We won’t have to wait long for the second event, as organizers have just announced a September edition of the festival. In just a few months Boston Calling will return to City Hall Plaza on Sept. 7 and 8.

Vampire Weekend and Passion Pit are signed on as headliners, with Local Natives, The Gaslight Anthem and Deer Tick among the other acts set to perform at Boston Calling September. Boston Calling organizers told the capacity crowd at this past weekend’s inaugural fest about their plans to return in September. “There was no better time for us to announce Boston Calling’s September return than when we could share it with the fans of our very first festival,” says Crash Line Co-Founder Brian Appel in a press release, “we’re so appreciative of and motivated by all of the support we have received from fans, artists and the city. It’s an honor to bring Boston Calling back to our city.”
