Farewell to Will Bernard: 8/31

Will Bernard
Falcor and Friends Presents is teaming up with Guitar Player Magazine to host an unbelievable night of funk music in San Francisco this Friday, August 31. The unofficial home of Falcor events, the 12 Galaxies, will once again be housing the festivities set to kick off at 9 p.m. and run straight thru the 2 a.m. curfew.

In addition to three diverse funk driven instrumental acts on the bill, the nights festivities will also feature several gear giveaway from Guitar Player Magazine, drink specials and an informal Farewell to Will Bernard as he says goodbye to the Bay Area and looks ahead to the future in his newfound home in New York City. Will Bernard has been a tremendous asset to the Bay Area live music scene for many years and to see him move on to bigger and better things is a bittersweet experience.

Also on the bill are Big Organ Trio and Bulk. Big Organ Trio made serious waves in the Bay Area on their last time through town. Having opened for the New Mastersounds run of shows through California, this three piece has gained some major momentum in the last few months with notable plays at the 10,000 Lakes Festival, a monthly residency in Los Angeles and as the new jam of the month of jambands.com.

Falcor and Friends & Guitar Player Magazine present:

it is a confusing headline. Farewell from what I thought? He just finished an album of his own. Where would he go exactly? hahaha.. I'm glad he is ok, I loved him with Robert Walters 20th Congress. sicknesssssssss.
