Why isn't the K23 at the High Sierra, that was my favorite set there 2 years ago??? But good to see them KD, On the One and Delta Nove. Southern Cali has a few good things to offer other then great weather. This looks like a pretty sweet first year for the Island

Could not agree more about Alfred Howard and the K23 Orchestra! They are one of the most unique young groups around. Maybe K23 and Delta Nove decided not to play high sierra because they are both on Island Fest and Earthdance? Either way, this is a great fest in the making!

This fest looks truly amazing. Nice diversity of music and other performances to boot. Not to mention the Puget Sound islands in the summer are breath taking. Anybody know of other bands on the roster? Can't wait for this one.

I'm psyched to hear Anoushka's sitar with Karsh's percussion and digital tangents--their first tour together will be cool. I'm super psyched to catch the Karl Denson Trio for the first time--KD always brings it...he was a man possessed at the NW Greyboy shows in April. Skerik y El Guzano Trio will be bueno! I listened to some of the tracks from Ganga Giri, BLVD and SisterMonk--I love catching newer bands at a kind li'l festie!!
