Wavy Gravy, Rock and Art luminaries join
June 2nd show to support Camp Winnarainbow

Wavy Gravy
San Geronimo – The San Geronimo Valley Cultural Center, long known as a great outdoor rock venue as well as a full-service community center, will kick off the 40th anniversary of the Summer of Love on June 2nd. The star-studded Wavy Gravy-hosted celebration of 60's art and music will raise funds for Camp Winnarainbow.

The event, The Wavy Gravy Summer of Love Revival will begin at 4 p.m. with a performance by Moonalice featuring their all-star line-up of G.E. Smith (Saturday Night Live, Bob Dylan), Barry Sless (Phil Lesh and Friends), Pete Sears (Jefferson Starship), Roger and Ann McNamee (Flying Other Brothers) and Jimmy Sanchez (Bonnie Raitt, Dr. John). The Revival All-Stars follow featuring: Greg Anton (Zero) Barry Melton (Country Joe and the Fish), Tom Finch (Big Brother and the Holding Company), Banana (The Youngbloods), and Martin Fierro (The Jerry Garcia Band, Zero). Attendees will take in the tunes in a relaxed sun-filled all-ages environment on the Community Center's grass courtyard.

The Wavy Gravy Summer of Love Revival celebrates the opening of a show of current collage works by Wavy Gravy in the West Room Gallery as well as a group show in the Valley Room Gallery. The group show includes work by The Grateful Dead's Jerry Garcia (1942-1995), iconic 60's cartoonists Dave Sheridan (1943-1982) and Gilbert Shelton, album cover artist Stanley Mouse, as well as work from MOT and DAVA. The classic 60's styled concert poster was designed by MOT and will be available for purchase at the event. Affordable and delicious soft drinks, snacks and dinner will be available for purchase at the event. Admission is $10-25 sliding scale; Partial Proceeds Benefit Camp Winnarainbow. All ages welcome; FYI some art will contain adult themes. Check or call 415-488-8888 for further information.
