The Southeast’s Most Intimate Music Venue! Our mission is To Support, Promote, and Reward Creativity & Community as we strive to be “The Southeast’s Most Intimate Music Venue… Where the Creative Spirit Shines!”
Live music is something we all know and love! The Crimson Moon Cafe presents six live experiences every week along side serving some of the best food around!
Come see established and nationally recognized artists perform on Friday and Saturday nights. Most Thursdays are scheduled around up and coming or local artists, so we have open jam sessions and a monthly open mic night. Every Wednesday our ‘House Duo’ Tom and Juli perform two hours of classic covers while you enjoy dinner.
The Crimson Moon Café is unique because is it the second oldest commercial structure (c.1858 and second only to the Gold Museum/Old Courthouse) located on the public square of historic Dahlonega, Georgia, and it also offers a one of a kind chance to be up close and personal with the artists. Our concert hall only allows 105 individuals to be within, at maximum, 45 feet away from the stage, a distance usually fought over, or unattainable at larger venues; a true listening room that makes the concert all about the performance with no distractions of any sort.
A menu, local brews, organic fair trade coffee and world class wines are offered by our wonderful servers and bar tenders. Two bathrooms are within a stone’s throw of any seat in the house. We have our own professionally built stage, lights and premium sound system that has been the reinforcement for acts such as Shawn Mullins, Indigo Girls, Michelle Malone, Col. Bruce Hampton, Clair Lynch, The Greencards, Geoff Achison & many more outstanding musicians. Any Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or Saturday night of the year we guarantee a wonderful experience you’ll never forget!
