BLVD is an electro-rock trio, formed in 2003 in San Francisco, consisting of Dylan McIntosh (drums/production), Curtis Sloane (guitar/production), and Tripp Bains (bass/synth). From 2006-2010, they toured the US extensively and, more recently, Canada, Australia and the Fijian Islands. BLVD has released four full-length albums and has licensed music to Victoria’s Secret, AOL, Fuel TV, MTV and CBS television. While influenced heavily by live music, BLVD’s stage show tends more toward the pomp and energy of a DJ set, as heard in their live remixes of artists such as Santogold, Yeasayer, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and Calvin Harris. Appearances at Lightning in a Bottle, Joshua Tree, Camp Bisco, Symbiosis, Shambhala, Burning Man, and High Sierra Music Festival have earned the band notoriety as a late-night headliner. Return to Center, BLVD’s forthcoming release produced by Jeff Saltzman (The Killers) will be followed by a slew of west coast performances in early 2011, beginning with a headlining event at The Independent in San Francisco.
