The Last Waltz Ensemble
Atlanta’s progressive purveyors of the music of Bob Dylan and The Band, The Last Waltz Ensemble, is preparing for a swing into the deep south this fall. The band is kicking off the Firefly Sweet Tea Vodka On the Fly Tour, October 6 at one of their favorite spots, Bourbon Street in Auburn Alabama.

October 7, The Last Waltz Ensemble plays the venerable Maple Leaf in New Orleans, then travels on to Antones in Austin October 11, performing with hometown friends, Blackberry Smoke. Tolberts in Dallas welcomes The Last Waltz Ensemble October 14 and finishing this run with an apperance at The Great Mississippi River Balloon Race on October 15.

The Last Waltz Ensemble is touring aboard the Firefly Sweet Tea Vodka RV as part of the brands “Flavor The Music” campaign, which naturally attracts attention. “It’s a 35 foot RV wrapped in Firefly logos and photos. It’s a stunning tour vehicle.” remarked Will Groth (current LWE drummer and water-boy) by phone, between shows and band rehearsals. “We’re happy to join the ranks of Sol Driven Train and Yarn, who have toured in this RV before as sponsored Firefly Sweet Tea Vodka bands.”
