Multi-faceted writer and performer Audrey Ryan’s debut record, “Passing Thru”, was released in 2004 and received lots of positive press. She put out a few EPs in 2005 and 2006. In 2007 Audrey put out “Dishes & Pills” under Folkwit Records in the UK. In 2009 she put out “I Know, I Know” which is a collection of one-man-band loop songs. Audrey’s next release in 2011 was a more orchestrated collection of songs entitled “Thick Skin.” She then published the book “The Need to Be Heard” about the music business in in the fall of 2011. Her most recent release in 2012 was “Sirens” a collection of older and newer songs. These days Audrey mostly performs solo shows as a “one-man-band” multi- instrumentalist using an electric guitar, accordion, ukulele, banjo, vibraphone, glockenspeil, drums, and a loop station. Heading into the studio to record her third release, Jenee Halstead arrived at an awkward conclusion: She needed to throw away all of her songs. "I had been thinking a lot about the wild -- about instinct and intuition", Halstead says. "I knew that I wanted to capture these ideas on this album but I just wasn't sure how it would happen. Once I got to the studio and played through the songs, the answer seemed obvious."
