The Kelly Richey band sports a new line-up for 2013. Freekbass and Jyn Yates are coming onboard to join Kelly Richey for a powerful blues- rock/funk power trio that aims to rock the house. Kelly Richey's inimitable, incendiary guitar work and husky vocals meet up with the legendary Freekbass, one of the best funk bassists in the music world today, and female drummer Jyn Yates, a powerhouse player who lays down solid, in-the-pocket grooves that forge the backbone for Freekbass and Richey to fly on. These masterful players lock down tight to deliver unparalleled energy and brilliant musicianship. Traversing new territory for the Kelly Richey Band will be the group?s agenda as they deftly meld blues-rock and funk for a dizzyingly potent wall of sound.
