Come out on Friday, August 10th as the DWNTWN Miami Concert Series closes out its first summer season with one of the most well-known reggae bands of alltime, the Wailers in a FREE concert at the Olympia Theater at the Gusman Center for the Performing Arts! Bob Marley’s First Lieutenant, Aston “Family Man” Barrett, who has been the driving force of the Wailers for more than 40 years, is bringing the band back to the US for their REVOLUTION tour this summer. “Family Man” continues the mission he started with Bob Marley more than four decades ago to spread the message of peace, love and equality to all people of the world. Local favorite, Jahfé opens the show with their roots reggae sound that has been infused with a little Rock, Dub, some Soul and R&B to form a true blend of organic sounds.
