NRV Skyfest Airshow is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the NRV airport with a weekend of family entertainment in the air and on the ground. Festivities will take place at the New River Valley Airport in Dublin on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday September 7th-9th, and will feature the world’s best aerobatic performers, modern and advanced planes and jets, warbirds and obsolete aircraft, and much more. Aerial stunts to check out will include Jane Wicker Wing Walking and the World’s Smallest Airport, which fits on the back of a pick-up truck! On the ground, visitors will have the chance to enjoy a Kid Zone, drum and dance shows, a rock climbing wall, artisan wine and beer, as well as live music. On Saturday, September 8th, Without a Fight, with special guest Spoon Fight, will entertain the crowd. Music will begin at 3 PM.
