The main stage, our barn built in 1885, is set in a natural tree-lined ampitheater with acres and acres of excellent viewing and listening. Our farm has 95 acres of primitive/rustic camping. There are no predetermined spots, grab a piece of land and treat it like it was your own. Ticket prices are $25 presale and $35 at the door. • 7/3/2009 - 7/5/2009 The Great Blue Heron Music Festival Sherman, NY: Unknown Located in the Amish-inhabited rolling hills of Western New York's Chautauqua County. The main stage fits nicely amid some pines at the foot of a naturally amphitheatric, maple-shaded hillside. The many acres of woods and trails seemed perfect for tent-campers, and adjacent fields accommodate those who prefer to attend in campers or RVs. A great pond is also located on the premises. As for performers, their experience in presenting local club shows had established relationships with many talented folks. As they contacted them with their idea, many went for it; most for little or no monetary reward. They included, along with ‘Donna’; Rusted Root, The Heartbeats, John & Mary, Rasta Rafiki and the late Colorblind James. There is a large field for parking, a teen tent, a childrens tent, a beach, a shuttle, a cafe in the woods, a main stage, a large dance tent, a songwriters circle, drum circles, marked hiking and biking trails, food and merchandise vendors, and much more!!!
