It received an Honorable Mention Award which was only given to 40 of 500 applicants (less than 1%). Here is what the judges had to say about the song:

'"One Day" is a thoughtful song expressing hope for a better future where peace will be reality. The song could have been presented as a ballad, but instead the group uses a jam band format.
