independent music

I recently began scouting for good independent bands that kick ass. You never know when a decent band could be playing nearby on a dead night while you aimlessly try to convince yourself or others to go out... hidden underneath the limelight of some great but media-ized bands is a whole sea of struggling bands with great material. Another reason why Jambase is such a great music search engine. If you are reading this and know of some good independent bands please pass em' on!
