The Bowl is a friendly sociable place where Southern Californians gather to picnic and enjoy outstanding music under the stars. Throughout the summer the LA Phil presents the best in jazz, classical, Broadway, and world music, featuring artists that range from Sarah Chang to Diana Krall, John Williams to Pet Shop Boys, and Nancy Wilson to Arcade Fire.

Opened in 1922, the all-time record for attendance was set in 1936 when 26,410 people crowded into the Bowl to hear opera singer Lily Pons. Current seating capacity is 17,376.

June 12 & 13 the 32nd Annual Playboy Jazz Festival is on, so gather your pals and gals, bring your fancy wine and cheese, and revel in your youth. Just keep an eye out for bunnies.


Catch your favorite band, bring a picnic and enjoy the view of the Hollywood Hills at this iconic amphitheater, which is *the* summer spot to rock out alongside stars like Drew Barrymore.
